General Terms and Conditions of Sale
In force as of 19 May 2026 · applicable to any order placed on laclerapide.fr.
1. Subject
These general terms and conditions govern the sales made by LA CLÉ RAPIDE to its individual customers (B2C) and professional customers (B2B).
2. Products and ranges
LA CLÉ RAPIDE sells keys, remotes, transponders, lock cylinders, immobilizers and automotive locksmithing accessories. The products are sold in three quality levels, all with a 1-year warranty on parts and labor:
- OEM origin · manufacturer part, official logo and casing, Smart'Prog cloud compatible.
- Aftermarket AF · certified compatible part, workshop-tested, identical functional transponder. Generic logo (non-manufacturer).
- Adaptable · adaptable shell + blank insert for opening and starting. Most affordable budget solution. Without button remote.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros incl. VAT, excluding delivery charges which are specified at the time of order. LA CLÉ RAPIDE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price shown on the site on the day of the order will be the only one applicable.
4. Order
Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale. An order confirmation is sent by email immediately after payment validation.
5. Manufacturing and delivery time
Standard manufacturing time is 24 business hours from order validation for 90% of in-stock references. For special models or rare brands (boats, classic vehicles), the lead time is specified after an expert quote (cf. custom request).
6. Programming
Programming is not included by default. It is offered as a separate option: at the Chatou workshop (by appointment) or via the service Remote Smart'Prog (remote, 12 min, 98.7% success rate).
7. Warranty
1-year warranty on parts & labor on all LA CLÉ RAPIDE products. In the event of a programming failure attributable to the key, exchange or full refund.
8. Credit card refund
The « key loss » insurance included in most Visa Premier, Mastercard Gold and American Express cards reimburses 100% of the amount. We provide a certified invoice + programming certificate accepted by all partner insurers.
9. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, individual customers have a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal, unless the key has already been programmed (article L.221-28: custom-made or personalized goods). Withdrawal does not apply to B2B orders.
10. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing that, the courts of Versailles shall have sole jurisdiction.
